Game Schedule Change

Hey Cougar Fans!!

 

Our game schedule for this week has changed a bit, so please make note of it and try to come out to the games.

 

Our game tomorrow night has been changed to a Home game at 6:00pm against Heritage. Also, this Thursday's game against NCC has been MOVED to April 15th. Check the game schedule on the CCA Dugout Club website and at MaxPreps for the updated schedule. If you have any questions, give me or Skip a call.

Game Advisory for Tuesday

Cougars, 

 

At Carver Field, we share with the Carver Middle School program. On two dates we follow one of their games.

 

Tuesday (today) is one of those days.

 

The school they are playing will be getting to the school late, thus delaying the start of their game.

 

Just a heads up that game time might be pushed to 630 to 645.

 

The Bus will leave CCA at 430.

2010 CCA Varsity Gate Information Sheet

CCA Varsity Baseball Admissions Gate info

1. Pick up Cash Box from Michelle Jones at CCA on game day.You will sign off on a sheet for how much money you receive and sign off on another sheet for how much money you return. These sheets are kept with the cash box.
2. Pick up signature sheet from Kay Britt for any ICSGA games. Staff and coaches from an ICSGA school get in at no charge and will need to sign this sheet. Return this sheet to Kay Britt the next school day following the game.
3. A white table and 1-2 chairs are in the concession stand. This table should be set up at the bottom of the hill between the Visitors Dugout and the bleachers.
4. There is a storage box in the concession stand labeled “CCA”. This box contains:
   
   - the signs for the table & tape
   - a master list of CCA Season Pass holders
   (in case someone forgets to bring their pass)
   - extra CCA Season Passes for anyone who did not receive theirs prior
   (Please check the master list before issuing a Pass.)
   - CCA Brochures
   - game schedule
   - volunteer schedule
   - a copy of these instructions
   
   
5. Admissions fees are collected beginning 30 minutes prior to the game and up until the middle of 2nd inning. (Adults-$4, Students-$2, children 5 & under n/c)
6. After the game, place the table and chairs back in the concession stand.
7. Make sure contents of the storage box are put back in the box and placed back in the concession stand ready for the next home game.
8. Two people MUST count the Gate money and fill out and sign the “return” sheet for Michelle Jones. Return money and forms to Michelle Jones at CCA the next school day following the game.

All homes games are scheduled for 6:00p.m. except for the Saturday game, it is at 1:00 p.m. Please try to get to the game at least (30) thirty minutes before the game

Schedule Update

Cougars,

Just a quick note on scheduling. The school website is now correct. It is correct as of later today. Maxpreps is also up to date. If you have printed a schedule before today, destroy it. We will hand out schedules to the players at practice tomorrow. You can go onto maxpreps or the Covenant website for up to date schedule information.

Per your messages from J and the Dugout Club, go to www.maxpreps.com for complete statistical information on the Cougars. We try to get the stats updates within 48 hours after a game at the latest. A big thanks to J Hardee for keeping it up to date! The schedule on Maxpreps is up to date and correct also.

Please make note that All Home games start at 6pm except for the lone Saturday Home game versus LCA which starts at 1pm.

Please note that unless otherwise approved and confirmed with me, all players must ride to and from all games on the bus with their teammates. We go to the game as a team, we play as a team and we travel back home as a team.

Practice tomorrow (Friday) will be at Bay Creek Park on Ozora Rd. The bus will leave CCA at 4pm and have the team back to the school by 6pm. You may pick your player up at the park at 5:30.

Next game is Monday in Macon vs. Stratford Academy @ 400. Bus will leave promptly at 1pm from CCA. All players are required to ride to and from the game on the bus. We will stop to eat on the way home.

Varsity Home Field Directions

Come out and support your 2010 CCA Cougars this Baseball Season. They will appreciate it very much.

1. Turn Right from school parking lot towards Loganville.
   Turn Left onto Hwy 78 towards Monroe / Athens. Travel approximately 15 miles, going past Monroe.
2. Take Right onto GA-83 / UNISIA DR.
3. Go to end of UNISIA DR. Take Right onto Good Hope Road.
4. School is located about .4 of mile on Left.
5. School Entrance on Left. Park in lot located outside Left Field fence.
6. Walk to field along third base line fence.
7. Concrete bleachers located on hill behind catcher with clear view of field. Bleachers are wide enough for chairs.
8. Concessions located directly behind bleachers, under the pressbox.
